Hello, I'm Liz, I'm a certified Naturopathic Nutritionist. I specialise in gut related issues and supporting people through the regenerative detoxification process.
Nutritional healing is a holistic approach underpinned by 8 guiding principles. The body is the true healer....I just help facilitate the process by educating and informing the client about what they need to do to support their body to heal.
Observing the natural world informs our model of healing and shows us the way we ought to live in order to achieve optimum health and well being. We aim to live in accordance with circadian rhythms, to eat good quality natural food, to use plants, herbs and hydration as our primary source of medicine, and to be able to live in a healthy natural environment, these are the foundations to human health.
Weight gain, stress and gut problems are at epidemic proportions in society, many people feel overwhelmed and confused about what to do about their often painful debilitating health conditions. There seems to be ever-increasing and conflicting advice on the internet about what to do along with the numerous fad diets which claim to be able to solve the weight problems; however they don't get to the underlying cause of the problem. Humans are the only animals confused about what they should eat!
During sessions I help to clarify things, and explain from a naturopathic perspective the root cause of dis-ease in the body. This different perspective will offer you a clear understanding of what may be causing your condition, and empower you to make the necessary changes that will have incredible regenerative effects on your health and wellbeing.

Liz Obasuke has been a fully qualified and insured Naturopathic Nutritionist since 2017. She began the naturopathic journey in 2002 to heal her own health problems and is passionate about using non-invasive natural methods to support the body to self heal. She grows her own food on the local allotment and champions local organically grown produce using permaculture methods.
How we work together
Sessions explore all aspects of your life, including diet, exercise, environmental toxicity, stress, lifestyle factors. I will support and coach you in-between sessions to ensure you stay on track and provide you with recipe ideas, food planning showing you ways to eat that are cleansing, tasty, satisfying and nutritious.
We will also look at regenerative detoxification methods and decide which approach is the most suitable for you at what point during your journey.
The process has to be gentle….it may have taken 20 to 50 years to create some of the health problems you're experiencing, so it's important to introduce changes carefully and at times slowly so as not to place your beautiful body under even more stress.

The Naturopathic Nutrition Association was formed by a group of Nutritional Therapists who passionately believe in the benefits of the naturopathic approach to nutrition. By working alongside a UK regulatory body for Naturopathy and other naturopathically-minded professional associations, the NNA aims to both promote to the public the benefits of naturopathic nutrition and encourage Nutritional Therapists to develop further therapeutic skills.

How Does It Work?
Step 1: Book a FREE 15 minute health and wellbeing review where I can explain how I work, we can discuss your health goals and see if we are the right fit to work together.
Step 2: We can discuss whether a one off 'Nutrition and Lifestyle consultation' would be suitable. This may be suffice if your needs are relatively straight forward, however if your needs are more longstanding and complex, a programme of support would be more effective. Programmes run over the course of a 1 to 3 month period, the frequency of sessions will depend on the level of support you decide is right for you.
Step 3: The initial consultation, lasts 90 minutes in which we complete a full health assessment, explore your current health concerns and goals, diet, lifestyle etc I then provide you with an individualised treatment plan to follow.
Step 4: Regular 60 minute follow-up consultations, where we work through and review your personalised treatment plan, tweaking it where necessary.

When I work
I have known Liz for a number of years, and she has helped me with my health on numerous occasions and is always so helpful when doing so. As an amputee I face many issues regarding my stump. I have been working alongside Liz my naturopathic nutritionist for some years, she has taught me a very helpful guide on the path to recovery, good health, and wellbeing simply and naturally.
