About me

Hello, I am Lindi, a registered Nutritional Therapist at LJ Nutrition working in North West London.

I am originally from South Africa and have been living in London for the past 15 years with my family. I am the proud mum of two gorgeous girls.

I love empowering busy parents to help them feed their families in a fun, creative and nutritious way and am passionate about picky eaters and the role us parents play in our kids journey and relationship with food. I love baking and cooking healthy alternatives for my family and love helping people to get results and feel their best, working from the inside out.
As a mum I also believe we need to feel our best and take care of ourselves in order to give the best we can to our kiddies. I support women with their own health and wellbeing and my main goal is to get to the root cause of your symptoms and look at the bigger picture.

I am passionate about supporting people through diet and lifestyle to reach your optimal wellbeing and help reduce the risk of disease. Every approach needs to be tailor-made to suit your individual needs and together we will devise the best possible plan and achievable goals for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a full member of British Association for Applied Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). The College of Naturopathic Medicine’s Nutritional Therapy diploma is fully accredited by the NTEC (Nutritional Therapy Education Commission).

        Any supplements or testing that may be recommended are not included in the consultation price.

        Registered Lorisian practitioner offering simple finger prick tests to check for Food Intolerances. After the test results we work together to eliminate the reaction foods from your diet and only reintroduce them when you are symptom free.

        There are many different ways to work with me, and I aim to find the best way to work with you around your needs and lifestyle. I offer the flexibility of working face to face, over Skype or the phone. Initially we would always try to meet face to face if possible. To stay on track and to offer you ongoing support I prefer to work with you by offering packages which include the initial consultation as well as a few follow ups either face to face or weekly calls and email support to help you reach your goals.

        The initial consultation with LJ Nutrition will last up to 75 minutes and will be based on an assessment of your previous medical and family history, your current health and lifestyle together with a detailed discussion about your health concerns and goals. During the consultation we will go through all the body systems in detail to establish any triggers or clues that may help me build the best possible plan for you. Prior to the consultation I will send you a short questionnaire as well as a food diary so I can review your case before we meet.
        You will be asked about any medical conditions as well as any supplements or medications you have or are currently taking and the main health concerns you have.

        Together we will talk about you health goals and if any functional or routine testing is needed as well as any lifestyle, food and supplementation changes.
        Within 48 hours I will send you a detailed plan of all the recommendations with any recipes,meal ideas as well as how to order supplements if required.

        A follow up consultation will usually take place around 4-6 weeks later so we can monitor your progress, review any test results and make any changes to the plan if necessary. Depending on the case, follow ups can be conducted via skype/telephone. These appointments will last between 30-45 minutes.

        Ongoing support is provided where needed and each plan is tailor-made to suit your individual needs and case.
