About me

Having come from an academic background, I use the highest quality and most up to date scientific evidence to inform my nutrition practice. I focus on helping people build healthy relationships to food and eating using an approach called intuitive eating to help people ditch diets for good.

Do you sometimes feel a bit nuts around food? Do you bounce from counting calories, to cutting carbs, to going on week-long juice cleanses because you heard it was the BEST way of losing weight, only to gain it all right back? Do you process your emotions by faceplanting into a bowl of cookie dough? Do you get stressed out going food shopping or eating in restaurants? Are you constantly doing mental acrobatics trying to keep track of what you can and can’t eat based on what you’ve already eaten and how much you’ve worked out that day?

Intuitive eating helps you break free of diet rules that consume so much of our mental energy and helps you relearn how to eat without worry and stress. Through principles of mindful eating, Health at Every Size and learning to respond to your body's natural hunger and fullness cues you can find a non diet approach to health and wellbeing that focusses on health gain rather than weight loss.

My approach is very personalised; I take the time to get to know YOU, so as my advice is grounded in the context of your lifestyle and tailored to your needs. I don't believe in weird faddy diets or expensive supplements that you can't pronounce! With so much weird and conflicting information out there, you sometimes need someone who can help you sort through it all! I have the scientific background to figure out what’s fact and what’s whack, and the experience to help you apply it to real life!

Take a look at my website for more information about the packages I offer (I can also put together a personalised plan to fit your needs). Once you have contacted me by email, we will set up an initial consultation and I will ask you to fill out some information about your diet and medical history.
