About me

I am an experienced nutritionist with a wide range of experience in areas including (but not limited to) weight management (weight loss and weight gain), food intolerance and nutritional analysis. I am passionate about supporting and educating both adults and children to enhance their diet and make positive lifestyle choices.

I have a special interest and experience in weight management for children and young adults and understand the benefits of consuming a healthy, balanced diet. I can provide detailed information, advice and guidance allowing individuals to help themselves better manage their diet and to improve and enhance their food choices.

One of my most recent interests is infant nutrition, with this interest being enhanced after having a baby with food intolerances/allergies. Having also suffered from food intolerance myself, I understand the difficulties firstly around the detective work related to finding any culprit food, and secondly around sourcing support to make lifestyle changes and source alternative foods/ingredients/recipes.

I have experience in undertaking and completing nutritional analysis’s in the UK, South Africa and Uganda. These nutritional analysis’s include analysing school meals, recipes, individual diets, and food served within community projects.
