About me
Hi, I'm Laura. I’m a registered dietitian and PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) specialist. I’m also someone who has PCOS, so I know firsthand how frustrating it can be to try everything (cutting carbs, taking inositol, following TikTok trends) and still feel out of control.
When I was diagnosed, even with over a decade of experience in nutrition, I struggled with irregular periods, acne, fatigue, and weight gain. The only advice I got? “Just lose weight or go on the pill.” It wasn’t enough, and it definitely wasn’t supportive. So I went deep into the research, experimented, and developed an approach that truly worked.
Now, I help other women with PCOS do the same through my 12-week Thrive with PCOS program. Using my evidence-based NOURISH framework, we work together to regulate your cycle, reduce symptoms, and restore hormonal balance without extreme diets or guilt.
My approach combines:

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 14 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
