About me

UK Registered Nutritional Therapist. Practical and realistic nutrition advice.

Whether you are after some health advice, looking to lose or manage weight or tackle a specific health concern, there are many ways I can help you.

I run one-to-one private consultations from my clinic in Sevenoaks, Kent

I offer a fabulous resource on my website with healthy recipes and blog posts to help you achieve your health goals. See my website or Instagram Facebook pages for daily inspiration (The Health Boost).

Nutritional therapy works for everyone – young or old. Whether you have a specific health concern that you want to address, or simply want to check that you are on the right track to healthy eating, a nutritional therapist can help in your goal towards identifying foods and lifestyle choices that can help you to look and feel your best.

I fully support my clients to adopt a healthy lifestyle that works for them; providing the tools to feel confident to do this independently, on a long term basis.

I practice using the principles of Functional Medicine (IFM.org), which aims to look for the root cause of disease in an individual, and how and why this has happened. Symptoms are not looked at individually, as an isolated bodily system; the whole person is looked at. For example, factors such as lifestyle, stress, sleep, genes and environment are all considered in a consultation, as well as food.

I am passionate about helping families to create easy, quick, balanced meals that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

I offer practical and achievable diet and lifestyle solutions for a wide range of health concerns including:-

• hormonal health

• weight loss or gain

• skin health

• digestion

• cardiovascular health

• allergies

I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for all your help with my weight loss. My journey has been way more beneficial by going to someone professionally qualified and experienced like yourself. Taking the advice off my partner and friends just wasn't working for me. All my cravings for sugar have completely disappeared actually, all I crave now is for my everyday wholesome balanced diet. Thank you, thank you! It's been life changing for me. I feel amazing!!I will absolutely be recommending you to friends and family. (George, Tunbridge Wells)

Katharine’s advice and support has helped me make significant improvements to my diet and health over the past few months. She took time to understand me as a person as well as the issues I needed to address before coming up with a clear plan of action.
She was easy to talk to from the outset and understood when life got in the way of progress at times, encouraging me to get back on track and keep going. I still have a way to go but am confident I will get there. (Lee, Sevenoaks)

My appointment with Katharine at The Health Boost was so informative. During my initial consultation it was agreed that a specialist DNA test would be useful. Katharine guided me through the whole questionnaire and talked me through the saliva test making the whole process so easy. After a few weeks the results came through and the information was such an eye opener. I learnt things about my individual genetics which meant I can take steps to live the healthiest life possible and minimise any negative health risks. It also confirmed things that I already suspected/knew which was extremely reassuring. Katharine then recommended a tailor made nutrition plan to complement the test which was easy to implement and follow. As a result I am feeling the best I have felt in at least 10 years. Katharine is so knowledgeable and supportive and I would highly recommend going to see her. (Charlotte, Maidstone)

Katharine is the most caring and attentive Nutritional Therapist I could have wished for. I am in my very late 40s and battling some of the almost crippling symptoms of perimenopause causing physical and emotional discomforts daily. Being in extremely good health is proving not enough and Katharine has spend time with me evaluating how a few nutrition tweaks, holistic approach and natural supplements will help me though this stressful phase. She is very thorough, very patient and extremely supportive. (Valerie, Sevenoaks)
