North Glasgow Community Food Initiative’s ‘Healthier Eating Royston Experience’ (HERE) project will, over two years, help bring about improvements to local eating habits. It is estimated that a minimum of 800 residents of the Royston area will benefit from the project including, families, young people, older people and those with addiction needs.
The project which is funded by the Big Lottery fund through the Our Place programme will provide the local community with, increased access to affordable fruit and vegetables, improved health through healthy eating support and increased knowledge and experience of growing food.

Initially from a hospitality and catering background, graduated as a mature student with Nutrition degree in 2011. Since May 2012 I have been managing a project in Royston, Glasgow.
