About me

Who am I?

I am a fully qualified, registered nutritional therapist. I graduated with CNM (College of Naturopathic Medicine) in London.

I have a certificate in Reiki 1 & 2 and I am a doTerra consultant with a certificate to deliver the Aromatouch Technique (light-touch massage using essential oils).

How I work

I take a holistic, non-judgemental approach to helping clients using natural and non-invasive methods, and approach the body as a whole organism. I help perimenopausal women over the age of 30 balance their hormones using nutrition and other holistic approaches. I have a particular interest in the perimenopause phase supporting women to get to the underlying causes of their stress, unexplained weight gain etc. This can be a very emotional and debilitating phase for women and my role is to empower them, help them feel heard and support them with nutritional therapy and lifestyle methods. I have clients who are vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian and non-vegetarian.

Consultations

I offer my services as:

a) 121 programmes as I feel that this is a much more effective way of acquiring the benefits of nutritional therapy, where there is continuity and commitment on both sides. The number of sessions depend on the level of support the client needs. I will provide support in-between sessions in the form of email/text/phone calls as necessary.

b) 12 week online group programme for  women: this course offers the client a supportive network of women to share and feel safe with. When women feel part of a community and know there are others who are going through something similar this can feel very supportive and empowering. There are 12 modules to work through on weekly basis that addresses many parts of this stage ignorer to help the client change their lifestyle in a gradual manner.

When you sign up for either programme I send you a case history form which you will fill in and send back 48 hours before the initial session/first module . This gives me the opportunity to look into your case so I can research before I even see you. This means we can spend our time together very effectively.

I work with you to put together nutritional plans that are achievable and that fit into your busy life.

If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.

Testimonials

Since I had my nutritionist sessions I have taken back control of my eating habits and i have a new positive approach to food and my health. My body has changed dramatically in every way. Before I would get bloating and suffer terribly. Now I am healthier and happier because I have been educated about what foods are good for me.

- Raj Bajvir, Beauty therapist

"I have tinnitus, the experience of which can sometimes have an impact on my wellbeing and sleep patterns. I approached Jey to see if there were any nutritional changes I could make that might support my body holistically on a day to day basis. I found the dietary recommendations easy to implement and follow. I continue to notice that when I support myself optimally on all levels, my stress responses reduce enabling me to manage the tinnitus far better.

I’m very grateful to Jey for her understanding and caring approach. Her knowledge of and passion for naturopathic nutrition has certainly stood me in good stead."

-Louise Hatch
Business owner, writer and tinnitus ambassador.

“Jey did a wonderful job at analysing my unhealthy habits and provided effective solutions to improve my wellbeing. The monthly calls and plans were very helpful in guiding me to a healthier and happier lifestyle. If you have the opportunity to work with Jey, I would not hestitate to do so.’
