Frances Hayton, BSc. N. Med, mFNTP, Nutritional Therapist
As an holistic nutrition practitioner I am dedicated to offering my clients personalised advice based on the latest nutrition science. I offer detailed nutrition plans tailored to my clients' individual needs. My ultimate aim is to help my clients pro-actively take their health into their own hands, and make life long positive changes.
I am truly passionate about naturally nourishing, life-giving food, and strongly believe in the ability of personalised nutrition to support health by restoring balance and by harnessing the body's innate healing abilities.
Nutritional therapy does not diagnose or treat disease, and is not a replacement for medical advice. Rather practitioners use a range of tools to help find and assess biochemical, metabolic and nutritional imbalances which may be contributing to an individuals symptoms and health concerns.
Nutritional therapy can effectively be applied to support all manner of chronic complaints Including; gastrointestinal problems, skin complaints, bone and joint conditions, autoimmune diseases, thyroid problems, hormonal imbalances, female health concerns including PMS, fertility, irregular or painful periods, blood sugar imbalance and sub-optimum immunity etc. Treatment is additionally helpful in supporting clients who are experiencing fatigue, chronic stress, allergies and intolerances etc.
Personalised nutritional therapy is also an effective tool for detoxification, healthy weight management and peak sports performance, and can help to enhance and optimise general health & wellbeing. Nutritional therapy can also provide support to those recovering from disordered eating patterns, and is very beneficial in helping those following restricted diets e.g. vegetarian, vegan, gluten and dairy free to meet their unique nutritional needs.

Information about health conditions (*)
Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.
Consultations are currently available 7 days at week at various times, please contact me for more details.
Due to Covid 19, consultations can currently only be carried out via video or telephone.
Consultation fees include the consultation time in addition to the time spent reviewing my client's pre-consultation health questionnaire and food diary prior to the intital appointment, researching my client's case and therapeutic options and creating, compiling and delivering a personalised written nutrition plan.
Fees do not include nutritional supplements or functional tests, both of which are entirely optional and will be offered to clients only as considered necessary.
Many clients will benefit from attending a follow up session to monitor and review their progress, and this is why I include one review session in my Comprehensive nutrition package. Some clients will also benefit from longer term advice and support, and for these clients my Gold nutrition package may be most suitable. However, the overall aim of nutritional therapy is to educate the client and enable them to take control over their own health in the long term.
If you are unsure as to which nutrition package is right for you, please feel free to contact me to discuss your needs.
