About me

Stop stressing over food.

Do you ever:

  • Feel fed up with years of on and off dieting?
  • Feel overwhelmed by or constantly second guessing what you should eat?
  • Try to be good but end up eating all the food you were trying to avoid?
  • Feel addicted to food?
  • Have frequent intense cravings that you can't ignore?
  • Try to be good in front of others but secret eat when you are alone?
  • Have moments where you feel out-of-control in what and how much you are eating?
  • Experience binge eating or emotional eating?
  • Constantly think about food or feel hungry?
  • Not notice fullness until you are stuffed full?

I'm here to support you to find a joyful (and easy) relationship with food.

You don't need another diet or more food rules. In fact, dieting and following rules about when and what we should eat is often the trigger for frequent cravings, constant food thoughts, binge and emotional eating and a generally stressful relationship with food.

Dieting can provide short term temporary relief and hope. But long term, it is not sustainable and does not address the root cause of the food stress.

I support you using an intuitive eating, trauma informed, non-diet framework. Together we work on:

  • Reducing your overwhelm, confusion and guilt around food
  • Improving your connection with your body's appetite cues, emotions and self care needs (interoception)
  • Understanding how your stress and emotions interact with eating and develop strategies to reduce out of control emotional and stressful eating
  • Body image and body acceptance, navigating our harmful cultural body ideals and values
  • Developing confidence in your ability to know when, what and how much to eat and experiencing this for yourself!
  • Incorporating food and health knowledge when it supports you without overwhelm and guilt
  • Finding a joyful relationship with food and feeling comfortable in your body - for good.

I have supported many people who have been dieting since their teen years (or even earlier!) who had never experienced what it was like to eat without a diet plan. I help you move from being stuck in a cycle of dieting, binge eating and constantly thinking about food to more regular and consistent eating, attuned with your own body's appetite cues and confident in your food choices - both alone and socially.
