Hi! I am Emilia, a Registered Associate Nutritionist with nearly 6 years of research and experience in the field and a thorough knowledge and understanding of the scientific, evidence based nutrition, food chains and its impact on food choices, of food in a social and behavioural context and an understanding of how to apply the scientific principles of nutrition for the promotion of health and wellbeing of individuals.
My practice is fully insured and registered with the UK's official registration body for nutritionists, Association For Nutrition, which implies compliance with a series of Standards of Ethics, Conduct and Performance, including always acting in the best interest of clients, maintaining high standards of scientific integrity, keeping up to date with the developments in nutrition field, maintain high standards of conduct, maintain client confidentiality, being objective, fair, balanced and proportionate in professional statements or recommendations made.
Apart from health and nutrition, my other passion is for environmental awareness, which led me on to study a Masters Degree in Sustainability and Behaviour Change, in which I cover the topic of sustainable diets and environmental nutrition. Having followed a plant based diet for 7 years, I can fully support and advice on vegetarian/vegan diets, however I work with a wide variety of clients with various backgrounds, restricted diets or cultural dietary preferences.
I firmly believe in the body's ability to heal and thrive with vitality and energy, simply by eating the right foods, in the right amount, at the right time.
