About me

Are you sick and tired of always feeling so tired, or sick? Or bloated, in pain? Stressed or depressed...? Whatever ails you, nutritional medicine can help.

I am a qualified naturopathic nutritional therapist based in central Bristol. I offer one-to-one nutritional medicine consultations in Bristol and via Skype.

Through years of research and practical application I have created a programme of treatment which draws from the work of mostly plant-based health advocates, including: Anthony William (aka the Medical Medium), Dr Michael Greger, Dr Neal Barnard, and learnings from "The Blue Zones" - observations of the healthiest people on the planet.

I believe that real food and nutritional supplements are the best tools we have to gain and maintain great health and I am passionate about empowering everyone with the right information to achieve that for themselves. We are all biochemically unique and, as such, what works for one person might not work at all for another. I love delving with my clients into all aspects of their lives, past and present, to help them determine how to get the most out of each day with the diet and lifestyle that is optimum for them.

I have experience of working with clients of all ages and from all walks of life - from busy mums and workaholics to drug addicts and those too ill to leave the house. Although, I am happy to work with any health condition, I have a particular interest in using plant-based medicine to transform gut health, stress and fatigue management, preconception and prenatal care, female hormonal dysfunctions and mental/emotional wellbeing.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have diplomas in nutritional therapy and naturopathy and have lectured in both alongside seeing private clients since qualifying as a practitioner in 2013.

Having struggled with chronic ill health and found no solutions from mainstream medicine, both via the NHS and privately, I decided to take matters into my own hands and consulted various natural health practitioners. Little by little, I started to feel better but even though I thought I had cleaned up my diet a lot I still felt like the food I was eating was doing me more harm than good. I was also a walking ball of anxiety and it wasn't until I addressed the sources of stress in my life as well as my diet that I started to make real progress towards recovery and abundant health and happiness.

Studying clinical nutrition and naturopathy helped me put all the pieces together. Understanding why my body worked the way it did rather than how it should totally transformed the way I thought about health and illness and helped me discover how to get my body to work much more efficiently.

While there is no single perfect diet, I have been inspired by observing the healthiest indigenous populations on the planet aka "The Blue Zones", where people routinely live fully active lives into their 80s, 90s and beyond. These populations live far apart but have a few key aspects in common: namely, social connection, daily physical activity, a sense of honour and purpose and a diet high in fibre and antioxidants from starchy vegetables, tubers and fruit and low in fat and protein - aka a largely plant-based diet.

My approach was also radically transformed after reading and implementing the fascinating work of Anthony William (aka the Medical Medium) which provides long-awaited answers to the questions of what causes the chronic illnesses that plague so many people today.

So, these are the models I work from, customising them to suit each individual.

I also work with doTerra essential oils, which are a cut-above all other essential oils I have ever tried. I use them for topical application and inhalation. They are simply wonderful and can make such a difference to our health - both physically and mentally/emotionally.

I believe that understanding is the key to making profound and lasting changes in life. So, as a natural health practitioner, my role is to help you understand why your diet and lifestyle choices haven't been working for you and what changes you can make to feel truly vibrant again.

As well as seeing private clients, I also offer personal or group diet & lifestyle coaching for corporations, talks on nutrition and naturopathy and I write about health and wellbeing.

        Nutritional therapy is not a quick fix. Healing and the diet and lifestyle changes required to achieve it take some time. As such, I choose to work with people ready to partner with me for at least 3 months to help them bring about transformations that will last a lifetime.

        Introductory package:

        One initial consultation lasting up to 90 minutes (in person or via Skype) plus a treatment plan

        One follow-up consultation 4-6 weeks later with additional treatment suggestions

        Email communication as needed.


        Additional follow-up consultations - £60 for up to 60 minutes
