About me

When it comes to health, we are all unique and one size does not fit all.

Nutritional therapy is a holistic approach to health that focuses on addressing and understanding the root cause of a symptom or a health condition. It’s also about disease prevention and making the right choices today could prevent illness in the future.

Diet, lifestyle and mindset impact how we feel and any nutritional deficiencies can trigger and exacerbate certain symptoms and conditions.

By looking at all bodily systems, symptoms linked to e.g. gut health, metabolism, hormone imbalances and poor detoxification can be understood and specific support can be provided. This whole-body approach means the root cause of the symptom can be addressed in order reach optimal health.

Nutritional therapy is about providing the necessary tools, support and protocol to help you reach your health goals whilst allowing the body to heal itself. Working alongside a nutritional therapist means you are not on this journey alone.

A tailored, evidence-based plan will include dietary modifications, supplement suggestions, lifestyle recommendations and other strategies to support the body’s own ability to heal. It is so empowering to be in control over your health and to feel your best again.

My journey into holistic wellness started in my early 20s when I began getting major breakouts followed by irregular periods and mood changes. I was spending my time and money on various treatments and products hoping it would heal my skin but nothing seemed to work.

It was only when I started looking at all aspects of my health, my mindset, my diet, lifestyle choices, my exercise routine and stress levels that I started noticing changes to not only my skin but to my overall health. It's amazing how the body can and want to heal itself.

"Massive thank you for helping me and guiding me over the last three months! I initially wanted help with sorting out my diet to see if it would help my a*ne and you have provided me with not only lots of different diet choices but lifestyle changes and skincare recommendations which i could easily implement into my routine. I have gained so much c*nfidence in my skin and generally feel a lot more energised during the day and sleeping so much better throughout the night. Thank you for being there and being so accessible for any of my concerns or queries and tailoring the plan for my likes and dislikes! You have been so lovely and would highly recommend you to anyone dealing with hormonal a*ne" - Tayla T.

"I came to Ellen when I was in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy suffering from water r*tention (swollen ankles), painful joints, dry skin and increased ALT levels as a side affect from pregnancy. Ellen was c*nfident, I felt in good hands as she really took the time to listen to and understand my symptoms in order to make recommendations to my nutrition plan. Ellen reviewed my diet and gave me alternatives that were easy to incorporate into my lifestyle and within a couple of weeks I saw great improvements. Ellen is amazing at what she does and really cares for her clients" - Kirsty W

"Ellen is a star. I have always been healthy and fit, however I was training for a marathon and Ellen helped to keep me on track and take me to the next level in terms of my fitness and diet throughout the process. I can't thank you enough, and I will be recommending you to all my friends, and plan on using your services for the foreseeable future" - Jen H

”My consultation with Ellen was really fantastic, I found out I was pregnant the morning that we had our appointment and she was extremely knowledgeable and was able to quickly adapt to a new set of parameters that we had previously not known about in the pre consultation discussion. She recommended very good vitamins that I am still taking, and knew what I could keep taking in terms of supplements. She is a very kind practitioner and you really feel listened to and cared for by her.“ - Grace S
