Healthy Weight Loss Programme
Elizabeth’s support is non-judgemental and aims to provide a safe space to discuss and consider your feelings around your eating and weight. The support is personal to you and will take into account your needs and wishes. Although weight loss may be your main aim, by following the programme you will receive other benefits, such as improved sleep, increased self-confidence, healthier looking skin, and greater energy levels. The overall aim is to support you to make changes which are sustainable and have a positive impact upon your health and wellbeing.
This programme will help you to:
•Shift your mindset away from dieting with its rigid rules and restrictions, and its associated feelings of guilt and shame.
•Eat healthily to improve nutrition for long term health. The focus is upon building a balanced, nutritious approach to your eating, making better food choices, but also enjoying food.
•Build physical activity into your life to be enjoyable and a way of life rather than as a chore and something done short term.
•Moving beyond a focus on body weight as a personal aim to consider how changes to your eating and lifestyle can have other personal gains, such as improved sleep, increased self-confidence, healthier looking skin, and greater energy levels.
£90 covers your first two consultations (to be paid at consultation 1). At consultation 2 you can then decide whether you wish to continue with the programme. A further £110 is required, or you can pay £35 instalments at each of the following consultations, though this makes the programme overall slightly more expensive. If you prefer briefer support to help to encourage you to start to make some healthy changes, you could choose package 1 or 2.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome Programme
Dietary treatment for IBS is very individual with people reacting to different foods and in different ways. For some following a healthy, balanced diet and making small dietary changes may be sufficient. To support you with this two consultations would be enough costing you £90
For others trying the low FODMAP diet may be beneficial. This is where particular carbohydrate foods are taken out of your diet for up to eight weeks followed by a stage of re-introduction to test for tolerance. Support will be given to guide you through the different stages of this exclusion diet. Booklets from the leading UK researchers of the diet, Kings College London, are provided. This part of the programme includes a mix of four 30 and 60 minute consultations over about four months. £200 if paid in advance at the start of the programme or £240 if you pay in instalments at each consultation (£90 is required at the first consultation).
