Based on a fundamental understanding of good nutrition, my experience allows me to provide tailored advice and workshops to organisations to help improve the health of their employees. I will also evaluate and feedback on any intervention undertaken.
Using skills acquired from the BDA's Work Ready Programme I base my work on the most up-to- date evidence and engage employees in the planning and delivery of such programmes including behaviour change strategies to help people make the best choices.
Workshops can cover food and mood, keeping energised at work to improve productivity, weight management and much more. I can also offer environmental assessments of canteens, catering facilities and give guidance on making changes as well as helping to implement and evaluate them.
My goal through training in care settings is to ensure that you are best equipped to meet the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards guidance and principles of nutritional care.
I provide on-site training and interactive workshops designed to help you improve your nutritional care. Customised appropriately for your organisation’s needs, I deliver sessions for all staff, including healthcare assistants, registered nurses, managers, catering teams and care providers in own homes and day centres.
