I first realised the power of food 20 years ago when suffering from various health problems that resulted in me barely being able to function at the end of each day. After taking advice and making simple changes to my diet, my life was transformed and I still feel marvellous.
What is Nutritional Therapy?
The body is an amazingly complex mass of cells and systems and when optimum health prevails, it can heal itself. Nutritional therapy can identify potential nutritional imbalances and how these contribute to symptoms; it aims to help this process by targeting the root cause of problems and by rebalancing the body’s chemistry.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in Brighton in Naturopathic Nutrition and qualified as a Nutritional Therapist in 2009. I practice from clinic rooms in Petersfield in Hampshire and Chichester in West Sussex.

£42 for a 45 minute follow-up
Skype and telephone consultations can also be arranged.
What to expect from a consultation?
A nutritional therapist’s work starts with a client consultation that involves:
v Detailed analysis of your dietary and nutritional intake.
v Detailed health and family case history.
v A strategy for health – linking the symptoms to nutritional imbalances and providing support and encouragement to change diet and lifestyle.
v Action Plan - personalised advice for diet and lifestyle changes.
v Supplement Programme – details of any recommended nutritional supplements, if appropriate.
v The recommendation of non-invasive clinical tests if required, to help ascertain any suspected underlying conditions.
Why use Nutritional Therapy?
Some people simply want to check that they are on the right track with regard to healthy eating. Others may want to lose weight or get help with their symptoms. Each person is an individual with unique requirements and I take time to define a personalised nutrition plan rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
