About me

Hi, I am Danielle, Specialist Paediatric Dietitian.

With the overwhelming amount of nutritional information out there, it can often be difficult to know what is best to feed your child or how best to manage a condition they may have.

Having over 18 years of experience in childhood nutrition and having worked at two of the UK’s leading children’s hospitals – Great Ormond Street and Evelina London Children’s hospital, I have a wealth of experience to help you in feeding your child.

In 2016 after becoming a mum and desiring more flexibility, I launched The Children’s Nutrition Practice. I have since loved working with parents 1:1, helping them optimise their child’s nutritional intake and working within the private/business sector.

My specialist interest areas include:

·       Weaning

·       Fussy eating

·       Food allergies and intolerances

·       Gastrointestinal problems

·       General healthy eating

·       Weight loss / weight gain

·       Autism

·       Neuro-disabilities

·       Surgical conditions

However, I am also available to see children with other nutritional needs or conditions as requested, and am available for media work, article writing, speaking events and training.

I see clients remotely via video consultation and can help children aged 0-18 years old.

If you are looking for specialist nutritional advice for your child, you are in the right place.  Click on my website link (above) for more details and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to book an appointment.

Training, qualifications & experience

Since graduating as a Dietitian I have worked in South Africa, Germany and the UK, and have gained immense experience in childhood nutrition by working across many different settings.

For over 6 years I worked at two of the UK’s leading Children’s Hospitals, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and Evelina London Children’s Hospital (Guy’s and St Thomas’s). I’ve also worked at an NHS University hospital, within NHS community trusts, the private sector and for the British Forces providing families, schools and other health care professionals with nutritional advice.

I am a full member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) and a member BDA's paediatric and allergy and intolerances sub-groups.

I am also registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.
