Crystal Mendes Dos Santos
I'm a fully qualified and insured registered nutritional therapist offering professional and individually tailored nutritional advice in the East Dulwich area.
During my time in clinical practice I have helped clients with a range of issues. I’m committed to helping people understand the importance of good nutrition to achieve optimum health, leading to a healthier and happier life.
WHAT IS NUTRITIONAL THERAPY?
Nutritional Therapy is the application of nutrition science in the promotion of health, peak performance and individual care. Registered Nutritional Therapists use a wide range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to an individual’s symptoms and health concerns.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Consultations are delivered on a one to one basis where we look at your full medical history, family medical history, diet, lifestyle and level of daily activity. From there I will be able to look beyond the symptoms clients present with to investigate the possible root cause, this will make up the basis for your personalised plan. There is no one size fits all protocol where health is concerned, each person has a different biological makeup that interacts with its environment uniquely and will therefore require a personalised nutrition plan to promote optimum health and wellness.
Nutrients and other food components influence the function of the body and determine people’s response to changes in the environment.
All client protocols are based on evidence based research from credible sources in order to achieve the best results possible for each client.
