About me

Nutritional Therapy is the application of nutrition science in the promotion of health, peak performance for individual care. I use a wide range of tools with a functional medicinal approach to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances. This helps us understand how these may be contributing to an individual’s symptoms and health concerns, enabling us to address any possible nutritional imbalances and supporting them in regaining and maintaining optimum wellbeing.

Getting started...

Drop me an email and we can arrange an introductory free telephone consultation, where you will get the opportunity to meet me as well as, gaining some initial tips on targeted nutrition. During this call we would be able to establish approximately how many sessions you will need and whether you would like to come in in person or meet online. This depends on your individual circumstances. I look forward to hearing from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have had a life long interest in food and complementary health care.  Born in 1965 into a loving family in St John’s Wood, London. My father was a Baritone singer specialising in Leider and my mother an artist trained at Camberwell Arts College.

During the summers of my childhood they held master classes within our house with BKS Iyengar who was bringing Yoga to London. Iyengar became a family friend and left a great impression on my parents, his philosophy therefore greatly influenced my family life and beyond. Our family became vegetarians and my mother studied homeopathy, energetic medicine and spirituality, which she found a great support in dealing with the normal childhood illnesses and accidents children experience while growing up. For me, addressing life’s imbalances with this approach became the norm, rather than an alternative.

Later in life I studied with the London Montessori Centre and gained a great awareness of children’s developmental stages, mind, body and spirit. My interest lead me from the class room to energetic medicine. I had had an awareness of this instilled in me, from the homeopathy I had received as a child. Due to an injury as a patient I explored many therapies chiropractics, osteopathy, acupuncture and finding my way to the RIFE device which introduced me to the LIFE system. A bioresonance device supporting optimum wellness on an energetic level. This gave me a driving force to explore further into health and wellness which lead me to my nutritional training.

I trained at one of the UK's leading Nutritional training centres, The College of Naturopathic Medicine London. On completing the three year course, which included a Bio Chemistry year, as well as 200 supervised clinical hours, I qualified with a Diploma in Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy in October 2013.

Since then I have offered Nutritional therapy sessions from my clinic in St Ives Cambridgeshire, as well as via Skype, and continue to do so. Please get in touch for a free 20-30min initial consultation by phone or Skype.

Testimonials:

Mark - Cambridge - "I got in touch with Clelia after a recommendation from a friend and I'm glad I did! Clelia is a very friendly and approachable person who got right to the heart of my concerns during her free telephone consultation. She gave me some very sound advice and suggested several possible courses of action in a very professional and authoritative manner. As a result of this I am attending a further consultation session at her practice”.

Jill Bennett, Guildford, Surrey - "I had a good diet anyway but we found that I was actually intolerant to several foods.  I am amazed at Clelia's knowledge and highly recommend you put your health in her hands."

Carol Kerrison St Ives Cambridgeshire - "Clelia was recommended to me locally and I have found her to be very professional, friendly and always willing to help and advise. The food plan she devised has been manageable, easily understood and has made an outstanding difference to my quality of life and I would thoroughly recommend her".

Collette Parker 20 20 Communications - "Clelia at Lift of Life has helped me to change my whole attitude towards food. I now eat to live, rather than live to eat! I feel less tired, have more energy and I actually think I enjoy my food more, because my palette is cleansed having stripped from it processed foods and all those additives and chemicals that are hidden within them that devastate our taste buds without us realising it. I eat when I am hungry, drink plenty of water and my skin is looking better. My younger brother said to me the other day, "you are looking very well. When your little brother notices, that is something!" I should also mention that thanks to Clelia I have a fantastic meal replacement drink for the days when I am rushed and have no time for breakfast. I am now also taking regular walks in the country - all on Clelia's advice. I won't look back as I know that my attitude to food and my diet has changed forever, because it is my very own 'lift of life', the key to good health and well-being".

George Bacon Cambridge - "I thoroughly recommend getting in touch with Clelia. Initially I was reluctant to address changing my diet, however after hearing Clelia's clear explanations and following the practical recommendations in the simple to follow dietary plan, the motivation took over as I felt the difference in my total wellbeing".

Stergios Bititsios Cambridge - "It has now been two weeks since we started with the plan.  I can't thank you enough really and I hope this is the beginning of the end of my problems. To start with, I have seen the brain fog disappear in the first 3-4 days. I have a lot more energy and I do not feel fatigued and unable to stand straight anymore. I myself and my muscles feel more relaxed, I also haven't experienced that annoying prickly sensation anymore". The bottom line is that I see the benefits already and I am hopeful that in the next two weeks I may return back to 100% normal”.
