About me

I'm Ashley and I am a registered Nutritional Therapist and Personal Trainer.

Nutritional Therapy can benefit individuals who want to alleviate health conditions and those who just want to improve general health and lifestyle.

As a Nutritional Therapist my focus is based on nutritional and biochemical imbalances in the body that may lead to ill health. Though making dietary, lifestyle and often supplementation suggestions I will attempt to restore balance and optimise health. Advice may include guidance on improving your diet, avoiding certain toxins, allergens, stresses and the use of supplementary nutrients and lifestyle changes to support your health.

I am also registered with many internationally renowned testing companies. Should you request or benefit from additional testing this will be discussed after initial detailed consultation.

My advice is supported by scientific studies and regularly attend accredited lectures, seminars and events to continue my professional development in sport and exercise science, nutrition and functional medicine to keep up to date with research.

This form of functional medicine may be used alongside conventional treatment, meaning nutritional therapists often have contact with other healthcare professionals should you require referral.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a nutritionist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the nutritionist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
