About me

Hi, my name is Ann-Marie, and I’m a Registered Nutritionist, Sports Nutritionist, and Certified Meditation Facilitator.

My approach is to look at a persons overall wellbeing. I work with clients in a 'whole-health' way, using my nutrition expertise along with mindset work. It might be that you want to understand how to eat to support your activities, or you want to have a healthier relationship with food. It might be that you just want to feel a little healthier and more energised. Whatever your goal might be, I can help you to get there.

Get started today...

Call me or email me to set up a FREE discovery call. After that, if you decide we are a good fit, the initial consultation will last 60 minutes. From that we can develop a plan of action going forward. I provide ongoing support, accountability and education with follow ups.

One to One Nutrition Consultations

This is for those who want to look at a particular topic or area of nutrition during a one-hour session. During the session we will look at the nutritional areas that will have the most benefit for you right now. You will complete a comprehensive questionnaire relating to your eating habits and goals prior to the session so that we can make the most of our time when we meet. During the session we will create some clear Action Steps that you can implement straight away to start working towards your goals. Follow up review sessions are also available to review progress, troubleshoot and help to keep you motivated.

Total Wellness

Total wellness is a one-to-one programme across 2 to 3 months. Through nutrition support, mindset work and meditation coaching you receive a ‘whole’ approach to your wellbeing goals. What does this mean? This means you get to feel good from the inside out! Tackling your nutrition is great, but looking at your mental wellbeing and mindset at the same time is even better, especially if something is holding you back from moving forward with your goals. Meditation coaching can help to increase optimism, improve resilience, increase focus, and help you to gain insight about yourself and clarity with your goals. Meditation coaching teaches you how to implement meditation practically into your daily life, but can also help you to work through any challenges that you may be facing preventing you from moving forward. This is a bespoke programme and so it may be that you only require the meditation coaching portion. This can be established during the initial conversation. This programme can include:

  • Nutrition consultations (fortnightly)
  • Meditation coaching and mindset (30 minutes weekly)
  • Weekly journaling prompts for reflection

Testimonials

When training for a 6-day endurance cycling event, I decided to seek nutritional advice from Ann-Marie. She helped me create simple strategies to make sure I was fuelling sufficiently and effectively before, after and during training. Her advice was definitely the most valuable part of the build up towards the event! It’s safe to say that I wouldn’t have been able to complete even some of the long training rides, let alone the final event without her help and advice. Even if you think you are already very knowledgeable about nutrition, it’s amazing what you can learn, implement and maintain with the support of a professional in sports nutrition.

Eddie, York

I felt instantly at ease. It was clear from the beginning that she was only there to help and not judge. After taking a food diary, Ann-Marie put together a bespoke plan to ensure I was in prime condition to match my energy requirements throughout the week, from what to eat the day before match day, what to eat and drink on match day as well as recovery plans. I have seen huge benefits. An increase in energy as well as mood have been clear. The plans are very simple to follow and she has a great way of explaining complex scientific information into lay terms. I 100% recommend anyone who needs help in any way to contact Ann-Marie. Whether that be a drastic lifestyle change to tweaking current habits to create an extra 1% improvement.

Andy Madley, FIFA and Select Group 1 referee

I'm a runner and have been running for many years from 5km runs to marathons. I had got to a point in my training where I felt like I had plateaued and even regressed. I would head out on a run and instantly feel fatigued. I love running, but it felt like I wasn’t enjoying it anymore and that something needed to change.

I had eight sessions with Ann-Marie, where we talked about my training and what I was trying to achieve, the amount I should be eating and the types of food I should be eating. I wasn’t eating anywhere near enough to fuel my body to level of my training. Ann-Marie gave me great nutrition advice, eating plans and target calories for my training and non-training days.

Since my sessions with Ann-Marie, I have adjusted my diet based on her guidance and advice and I now feel so much better. My muscles feel stronger and I don’t feel the fatigue I was feeling before. The information that Ann-Marie gave was perfect for following and easy to adapt into my daily routine, I now feel that I have the knowledge to eat to fuel my training without having to think too much, it’s now intuitive.

Katie, Bingley

We commissioned Ann-Marie to do a programme of 6 classes on nutrition to our online cafes. They went down a storm; people finding out loads of information on nutrition and having fun swapping recipes. She made them fun and informative and we had great feedback. She was also a guest on our podcast telling is about how our nutritional needs, and the way we experience food changes as we age. We will definitely be using her again!
