About me

Hi! I’m Andrea from Farnham in Surrey and my job is to assist you in achieving your best health naturally. I do this by treating you holistically, top to toe with the right Nutrition to heal your body and NLP to support your mind.

For years we have been lead to believe that low fat diets are healthy: good for weight loss, and generally just good for our health. This usually means that trying to be healthy is a combination of restricted calorie intake, boring diets and unsatiating foods, leaving us constantly craving something satisfactory to eat. We now know that this advice hasn't worked and the risk of ill-health as a result of being overweight is now higher than ever. There must be another way – right? And perhaps that way is getting to the root cause of the problem instead of just suppressing the symptom. Prevention is better than cure!

Despite our brains being hard-wired to seek out sugary foods, we don’t have to be a slave to our biology. With a deeper understanding of modern day ultra-processed, artificial food and the vital gut-brain connection, we can create long-lasting change to our health, without resorting to extremes, enabling us all to lose weight and feel healthier and happier.

The human body is incredible, complex and fascinating and it knows how to heal itself; we just have to give it what it needs to function optimally; feed it the right nutrients, be active, de-stress, sleep well, get outside, find time for yourself and have fun. Though easily said, not so easy to implement, and that is where I can help.

Making yourself healthier with the right nutrition and lifestyle is not a short-term fix; it takes time, planning and perseverance. If I were to work with you, my aim is to help you plan and persevere; to give you back your mental clarity, energy, slim waistline, pain-free joints and a zest for life.

My passion for nutrition and lifestyle change was born out of my desire to heal myself. From the age of 11 to 16, I was a national squad gymnast training 24 hours per week. This stressful childhood, combined with my perfectionist/high achiever mentality, led to a number of physical and mental health problems which started to unravel in my 20s.

I spent a good 20 years working to heal myself from a number of health conditions which included: Reynauld’s disease, gut issues, panic attacks, back/head ache and fatigue.

After seeing ‘every-ologist’, in 2015 I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, Sjorgren’s, and was prescribed daily immune suppressants, anti-inflammatories and co-codomol. None of this helped.

Frustrated with my lack of progress, I decided that I wanted to come off my symptom suppressing medication and heal myself naturally by focusing on the root cause of my problems. A deep-dive into the research enabled me to make the necessary changes to my diet and lifestyle, and after two years I found I was free from mental and physical pain and able to come off all medication.

My mission is to pass on my knowledge to you, giving you the tools required to become your own healer.

Training, qualifications & experience

I inform, educate and empower you to take control of your health by constantly drawing on my knowledge of 30 plus years in the health and wellness industry, having graduated with an MSc in Physiology and Psychology from Loughborough University in 1990. I help you to follow a pain-free, energy filled, happy life using my skills as an Holistic Nutritionist and a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming.

I am unique working in the fields of both Nutrition and NLP; not only can I offer dietary advice, but I can also tap into my NLP skills offering professional nutrition counselling; changing any bad habits, erasing limiting beliefs and introducing powerful motivational strategies. This emotional support will help you to stick with the new lifestyle you have chosen for yourself.
