Hi, I’m Aileen, I work with people who’d love to feel healthier and would like to explore how nutrition centred-wellbeing may support their health goals.

I’m a Registered Nutritional Therapist.

I love to work with both private clients and also with businesses to provide both education and wellbeing programmes for their teams.

Training, qualifications & experience

Diploma in Nutritional Therapy (DipION)

I undertook my 4 years training at the renowned Institute For Optimum Nutrition in London.

I’ve been trained to use a patient centred body systems approach. I will spend time with you, listening to your health history and looking at the interactions between genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors (such as sleep, relaxation, exercise, movement, nutrition and stress) which may be influencing your symptoms and health conditions.

I love to analyse a client’s case to help identify the potential underlying reasons for their current health status. I find that being able to give a client an understanding of what is going on and what may have triggered their symptoms can assist them in implementing their health optimisation plan.

I also regularly attend conferences and post graduate educational events enabling me to apply the most recent advances in nutritional science in my clinical practice, visit to read more.

I am a Full member of this professional body for Nutritional Therapists, meaning I am obliged to abide by their strict Code of Ethics, I am fully insured and I undertake regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as encouraged by the organisation.

Registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

I also belong to the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), an organisation set up with government support. Being a registered member of this organisation means that I have provided proof of training and experience within the field, I am professionally insured and I abide by the CNHC’s Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including massage, aromatherapy and nutrition.

In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.

A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.


British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT)

The British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy is the professional body for Nutritional Therapists.

There are different BANT membership classes, including Full Member, Fellow Member and Student Member.

All BANT practitioners must have met the required standards of training, be fully insured and adhere to the BANT Code of Ethics and Practice.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Following a highly successful business career as director/owner of a food and hospitality company, I founded the Health Heroine business with a mission to “help men and women in business invest in their health in a way which will empower them to gain more energy, clarity and body image in order to maximise their professional performance and to live life to the full outside of the business world.”
