Nourish: Learn how to ditch diets for good

I mean, if they really worked, why would you need a new one every year?
Diets suck. Join us as we bust some nutrition myths, get to grips with eating intuitively and help you start your journey towards your very own food freedom.
Each week we'll look at different topics which will help you to:
- Figure out which foods make you feel at your best.
- Find ways to balance out emotional and comfort eating.
- Get back in touch with your hunger and fullness signals.
- Learn how to respect and nourish your body.
- Understand nutrition without restriction.
- Plan balanced, satisfying meals that fit around your life.
- Quit counting points and calories and eat the foods you love.
- Improve digestion, wellbeing and your energy levels throughout the day.
- Find a way to reach your fitness goals that adapts to your routines.
This course isn't about restriction or counting points or calories and you won't ever be weighed or asked about your weight.
We'll be looking at the principles of intuitive eating and the reasons and behaviours behind why and how you eat. These patterns sometimes lead to needlessly restricting food which can lead to feeling out of control around foods you love, using emotional eating to deal with your feelings and regularly eating way past the point of fullness. You'll learn to spot and challenge these behaviours and begin to trust your body again.
Along with the activities during the sessions, you'll also get a workbook to keep that's full of activities and experiments for you to try so you can practice what you've learned. This includes an initial intuitive eating assessment which we'll check in with at the end of the five weeks.
These small changes all eventually add up to big ones and mean that you can quit calorie counting and strict diets for good!
You'll also have a chance to ask me, a non-diet Registered Dietitian, any questions you have about diet, health and nutrition in a safe space and chat to others in the small group who're interested in the same subjects.

This course is not suitable for people who have an active eating disorder or those who're in the early stages of recovering from an eating disorder. Recovery from an eating disorder involves one-to-one input from a dietitian and healthcare team and as such this course is unsuitable.
