The My Menopause Support Group is a five-week course in which you will learn about the transitional phase from perimenopause to postmenopause and how food and lifestyle can help you feel more in control during this period of change.

Each week, we will cover a different topic linking diet and lifestyle to the changes that occur during this transitional phase.

  1. In week one, we will learn about what is happening to your hormones during the various stages of menopause and how this may affect you.
  2. In week two, we will discuss changes to your body, including weight gain and energy levels, why this occurs, and what you can do to help manage these changes.
  3. In week three, we will cover your digestive health, why the gut is so important, what happens during menopause, and how to support it.
  4. In week four, we will explore changes to your mind, memory, mood, and sleep, as well as the impact that good nutrition and healthy living can have on how you feel.
  5. In week five, we will have the opportunity to talk about ongoing health during and after menopause, focusing on aspects such as heart and bone health, which are particularly important.

Find peer support with group discussions and health coaching exercises that can help you get motivated and stay on track throughout the five weeks and beyond. You will have access to online material that you can download, including nutrition information, recipes, and handouts to assist you in tracking your progress.
