A fermentation workshop following on from the first one I ran earlier this year. We will be concentrating of how to ferment drinks such as Kombucha, Water kefir and how to flavour these and put them through a second fermentation.

The workshop will be suitable for vegans and most of the foods/drinks will be dairy free also.

Other drinks and condiments that will be covered are:

  • Beet Kvass
  • Shalgam suyu
  • Pickles
  • Relishes.

There will be food and drinks to taste during the workshop and as always this will be a hands on workshop where some chopping/cutting will be required. More information is on Eventbrite by following the link.

You may already know that fermented foods and drinks have a beneficial effect on the gut microbiome. This in turn benefits digestive health and overall well-being. This workshop is suited for the fermentation enthusiast and those that want to learn how to ferment their own drinks at home. It will give you confidence to get fermenting at home and produce your own batch of delicious fermented beverages and pickles.
