M&S release sunshine food range
Marks and Spencer are to release a range of foods fortified with Vitamin D to help tackle health problems caused by a lack of the ‘sunshine vitamin’.
The line, which includes fortified fruit juices, milk and yoghurt, contains vitamin D as well as additional nutrients such as calcium and omega 3.
The Simply More range has been available in selected stores since spring, but due to it’s popularity is now to be rolled out across all stores by Autumn.
Claire Hughes, a nutritionist over at M&S has said that they want to make it as easy as possible for customers to stay healthy and get their daily dose of vitamin D, without having to worry about getting out in the sunshine.
