- Do you feel sluggish, bloated, run down and unwell?
- Are you overweight, in pain or always exhausted?
- Would you like to optimise your performance and wellbeing and dramatically reduce your risk of chronic diseases?
I'm Taru - a qualified, registered and fully insured nutritional therapist - and I run clinics in North London (Crouch End, Highgate) and in the City.
My therapeutic approach is based on Functional Medicine framework, which takes into account our biochemical uniqueness and the holistic nature of our wellbeing, while relying on evidence based, safe and effective interventions.
I am a fully certified Metabolic Balance coach and a graduate of Coaching For Health and ILM2 Coaching programs. These skills have allowed me to help my clients to make the changes they've wanted to make both in their diet as well as in their lifestyle. You can read some of the feedback from my clients on my site in "Case Studies and Testimonials" - Please have a look! I also work in conjunction with a hypnotherapist Cheyne Towers MBAThH, GQHP, whose work helps my clients to break free from unwanted habits, behaviour and thought patterns.
To discuss your goals or to find out how I can help you reach your goals, don't hesitate to call me; I'd be happy to answer all your questions!

I am truly fascinated about the interconnected relationship between our diet, lifestyle and wellbeing. From experience I know that good nutrition and specific simple lifestyle interventions can offer a safe, affordable and natural approach to improving resilience, mental focus and energy and sense of wellbeing.
Prior to graduating from the Westminster University's Nutritional Therapy program (Bsc hons), I had a career in arts management and international film distribution and festivals. Mentally demanding and fast paced, I developed my own coping mechanisms to deal with stress - good nutrition and healthy lifestyle provided consistently the best results, and finally I decided to retrain in nutrition and make it my second career.
Originally from Finland, I have an appreciation for silence and wild outdoors. If not at work, I'm most likely found having a walk in one of London's wonderful parks.
