Good nutrition can make the difference between you feeling just “okay” and feeling in top mental and physical form. However, eating in a way that supports your health and is nevertheless enjoyable is a challenge for some people.Your Clinical Nutritionist aims to help you strike a balance between the two and imparts practical nutrition advice which you can apply lifelong, and which is grounded in evidence-based nutritional principles.
Nutrition education alone is often not sufficient in addressing the challenges we face with chronic health issues. The eater has his/her own psychology, and this is equally important in optimising nutritional programmes and well-being. As Hippocrates said “It is more important to know what sort of person has a disease than to know what sort of disease a person has”.
For this reason, Clinical EFT is incorporated into nutritional programmes where appropriate, by mutual consent. Clinical EFT is a non-invasive,evidence-based psychological tool (not therapy) which has its efficacy grounded in a substantial body of scientifically validated research studies. What’s UNIQUE About Your Nutritional Health?
Firstly, I don’t tell you to give up chocolate and your favourite foods. Why? Because nutritional advice and programmes based on choice restriction and calorie limits usually fail. People get tired of feeling hungry and deprived. They go off their diets, and even worse, then feel bad about themselves for not having enough will power, discipline, or motivation to stick to their regimes.
Secondly, I don’t just explain to you what you need to do, I help you do it. Together we create step-by-step, practical modifications to your diet and lifestyle which are realistic for you and mutually agreed upon. This way, adjustments will fit into your lifestyle and consequently have a more lasting impact on your long-term health and well-being.

Complex mixture of symptoms
“I started seeing Sylvia last year with a multitude of concerns which my doctor had over the years been unable to resolve fully. Sylvia is endlessly kind and patient and incredibly smart. She has spent so much time unpicking the problems and giving me constant advice and support way beyond the extent of any other practitioner I have come across. Her advice has made a real, physical difference but perhaps more importantly has put my health back in my own hands. Sylvia really is exceptional – in her knowledge, service and value.” JR, Camden Town.
“I used to feel much older than my age of 45; I got easily stressed, had problems losing weight, had no energy and my skin was very dry. I mistakenly put these problems down to ageing. Then I visited Sylvia. She was very soft spoken, patient and really focussed on trying to help me. After giving me nutritional advice to change my eating habits and taking some supplements I was really amazed with the health improvements I noticed on a daily basis. I’m so grateful now that at the age of 46 I’m looking great and feeling energetic.” M.S. London
Seminar for Bacardi-Martini Corporation Limited
“We invited Sylvia to join us to run an interactive 1 hour session on nutrition during our January well-being month. I found Sylvia to be a joy to work with before, during and after the event. She understood our brief and combined basic clear nutrition information with topical subjects including food and alcohol, superfoods and “is low fat really low fat”? I would definitely not hesitate inviting Sylvia back should the occasion arise”. Heidi Wood, Senior HR Manager, Bacardi -Martini Corporation Limited, London
“Sylvia is always willing to support wherever I am in the process and to help me unravel the issue. She is always respectful and encouraging to get to the bottom of things and unearth what is really there. She is also very sensitive and goes with the emotion of where we are in the process and uses EFT both thoroughly and ethically. Blending her knowledge of nutrition and EFT works perfectly together.”
”I have been seeing many doctors for the past 5 years for my stress-related illnesses. I have never been able to handle stress easily in my life and to find the right treatment that would help me mentally and physically. When I first visited Sylvia, I was still suffering from head pain, panic attacks and severe nervousness. I was feeling low and my comfort eating was out of control.
In my sessions, Sylvia supported me and helped me to identify the issues in my life that brought on my head pain and nervousness attacks. In my first session, the pain in my head and the tightness in my chest disappeared. I now feel healed and relieved of my fear, resentment, anger, sadness, self-condemnation and all the other negative thoughts and feelings that were connected to my nervousness. I now feel happy, calm and at peace and I don’t have the need to eat compulsively like before.
Sylvia has taught me such a simple and powerful tool which I will continue to use for the rest of my life and will share with my family and friends. It has completely changed my life for the better and I am so grateful for getting my life back. Thank you so much for everything.“ A.M London
