Sonja Macura D.N. Med, D.D.Ther mBANT, mNNA, CNHC
The Macura Clinic
143 Wakefield Road
I am a fully qualified, registered and insured practitioner who has been working in the Huddersfield area since 2001.
I see each client as an individual, taking into account their medical history, diet and lifestyle, symptoms and health problems and addressing the whole body. I believe that all health problems are linked and that disease arises from the gut, so I keep particularly updated with research in this area.
While diet is the basis of my therapy, I may also recommend supplements to support deficiencies. If required. I would discuss your diet with you first and make suggestions that may enhance your route to health before tailoring a diet to suit your individual needs.Your future healthy diet and lifestyle may be easier to implement than you think and a few simple changes can sometimes be life changing. Nutritional therapy is simple and effective, helping achieve changes in your health rapidly and successfully. An initial appointment can teach you much about ensuring your future health, weight management, and help slow ageing process.
Sometimes I may recommend lab tests to assist my knowledge of an individual's health.
My own interest in nutritional therapy came about when I was ill with multiple allergies, ME, dysbiosis and severe chronic infections.
I have an interest in digestion, immune system function, hormonal imbalances including hypothyroidism, and auto-immune disease including Hashimoto's Disease.

My fees are £50.00 per hour. The initial consultation is for two hours. This enables me to fully understand the individual using iridology, and several questionnaires. Any follow-up appointments are for one hour. I send out a health questionnaire which I ask you to complete and bring with you to the clinic for your consultation.
Typically people would see me for 2-3 appointments. I respond to queries by e-mail and telephone in between appointments as part of my service.
