I am a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist, having graduated from the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London, founded by nutritional health expert Patrick Holford.
I am a member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT) and Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) Registered Practitioner, adhering to their professional code of conduct at all times, and is covered by indemnity insurance.
I am a complete foodie and I positively encourage the enjoyment of food; its ability to nourish and heal the body is what me to study nutritional therapy. Being a mother myself, I am passionate about nutrition for children, and believe in the importance of children forming healthy eating habits, which they can build upon as they progress into adulthood.
I represented Great Britain both in the junior Showjumping team and individually. Therefore, I completely understand the dedication it takes to become successful and remain at the top of your chosen sport. I also appreciates the importance of reviewing new scientific evidence with regard to sports nutrition, and the adherence to supplementation rules in competition. The links between nutrition and health are constantly evolving, and she attends seminars throughout the year in order to keep up to date with current research.
Often, it can be difficult to strike a balance between the enjoyment of food and ‘eating healthily’ in a busy western world where eating is often seen as a leisure pursuit. Our bodies are hard-wired for survival; this can result in an innate craving for sugar and fat which can lead to suboptimal health.
Healthy food and delicious food are not mutually exclusive; if the two are combined it makes a perfect combination.
I can advise and support you on your journey to optimal health and peak performance.

* If you have been diagnosed or suspect you may have one of the medical conditions starred above, you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
Prior to the initial consultation, the client is provided with a questionnaire and a short food diary. We would ask for this to be completed and returned to Phytofit Nutrition a few days before the consultation date where possible.
An initial consultation takes approximately 1 hour. After further information gathering, including discussing any current medications/supplements being taken, a Health Optimisation Plan will be devised for the client, tailored to the individual. This may include diet and lifestyle changes, supplement recommendations and recipe advice, depending on the client’s goals, and what will be realistic, achievable, safe, and effective for that individual.
A follow up consultation of 45 minutes will usually take place 4 weeks after the initial consultation. Depending on the case, follow up consultations can be conducted over the phone, or Skype if preferred.
Initial consultation (60 minutes): £75
Follow up consultations (45 minutes): £45
