Olivia Bales (MSc, BSc, SENr, BDA)
Olivia has been involved in high level sport since a very young age and over the years has accumulated a wealth of knowledge about the health and fitness industry and, the importance in fuelling your body the correct way for maximum results and sporting success.
Olivia specialises in weight management, nutrient timing, sports nutrition, improving fatigue and energy levels through individual consultations, monthly support and individually tailored nutrition plans.
Olivia is currently working with England Lacrosse as a Performance Nutritionist to the Men's U19 team and worked with them in the lead up to the World Championships where they finished in 5th place. Olivia also works with British Swimming as a casual Performance Nutritionist.
When finding a Nutritionist it is vital to ensure they are qualified and registered. Olivia Bales is registered with the British Dietetic Association (BDA) as an Associate Nutritionist and Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr) as a Graduate Nutritionist.
Training, qualifications & experience
Olivia is a Sports Nutritionist that holds a BSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Studies and is a graduate from The University of Westminster, London with a MSc in Sport and Exercise Nutrition. Olivia's MSc thesis was based upon the GB Platform Diving Team, researching the various ingestion methods of both male and female platform divers.

A consultation with Nutri Liv will be a one-hour face-to-face meeting; I will also speak with you prior to the consultation, over the phone. The purpose of speaking earlier to the consultation is to fully understand your individual requirements. I will also ask you to complete a 3 - day food diary, allowing me to analyse your dietary intake and gather a enhanced understanding of your nutritional needs before the consultation.
During the consultation, I will measure your anthropometric measurements; this includes height, weight and body fat % measured by Harpenden Skin Callipers. The consultation will cover numerous topics including; medical symptoms and history, family background, eating habits and current lifestyle. After all the information has been collected and analysed, the report will be discussed with client during this consultation.
After the consultation the client will receive a full detailed report, including the recommendations discussed and action points for the client to follow. A follow up consultation is normally scheduled after four weeks and allows changes to be made to ensure the client’s goals are being reached; this can be done as a face-to-face consultation or via phone.
Initial Consultation: £110.00
Follow up Consultation (30 minutes- 45 minutes): £45.00
The initial consultation price includes the research done prior to the meeting, including the dietary assessment, unrushed and supportive face-to-face consultation. Support will also be received prior and/or post consultation via email or telephone during the package.
Nutri Liv may recommend for you to try Lorisian Food Intolerance testing, if food intolerance symptoms become apparent, this will be discussed in the Initial consultation.
Olivia can accompany you on a shopping trip to advise you on what to be selecting and advise you on what to buy and stock in your kitchen at home.
