About me

Louise Powell is a Nutrition & Lifestyle coach for women. I help women to identify hormonal imbalances and understand their natural cycles; I specialise in pregnancy preparation and support.

In my practice I focus on personalised nutrition and lifestyle changes, combined with regular motivation, to help you create a healthier pregnancy that gives your baby the best possible start.

We will work together to create a shift in your mindset so that you are able to take your health into your own hands and continue being the healthiest version of you possible; guiding you to move towards a more holistic way of living, that lasts. I trained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine as a Nutritional Therapist; together with my education, passion and commitment to healthy living I am able to help my clients to reach their health goals.

I grew up in South Africa and have always had a keen interest for nutrition, inspired by my mother’s interest in creative cooking on a budget, always stressing the importance of organic, whole foods with a rainbow of colours and my dad’s respect for nature.

My focus is on the root cause of imbalance or ill-health, rather than the symptoms. Symptoms are our body’s management of imbalances and if suppressed tend to lead to larger, more serious issues in the future. It is my aim to educate and motivate my clients to live life in optimal health, according to their bodies personal requirements; together with a nutrition and lifestyle plan you will be equipped and inspired to start, or reinforce, your journey to health.

What you eat matters. A lot. However, the key to health is balance; a focus on mind, body and soul allows my clients to make lasting changes. In our ever changing environment we need to learn to listen to our bodies, constantly evolving our nutrition and lifestyle to support our needs.
