Louise Carney-Stillie BSc, ANutr is a registered Associate Nutritionist and Weight Management mentor. I am a kind, compassionate, practical and offer realistic support and advice. I am a highly motivated and professional person who can be trusted to provide a high quality service.
After overcoming many personal and professional challenges I was trained in dietetics and Nutrition at Nottingham University, I felt inspired to pass on my experience to benefit others. I believe in confidentiality with the importance of listening, respecting and valuing people individually so that you can build a fresh, honest, more accepting approach to being who you are and your ongoing relationship with food.
I also believe how important it is to put yourself, health and well being first and foremost. Because, if you don't have good health and wellbeing then life becomes difficult. It is one thing I have learnt is that it is OK to make time for yourself even if it's a short 5/10 minute walk you are not being selfish your just taking care of you.
Located in Nottingham Nutrition with Louise specialises in giving you non-judgmental help, encouragement and support, enabling you to meet your nutritional needs, wants and desires. This can help you to overcome " I can not" and re-instilling a can do belief of "together we can". I work to break down barriers with you as an individual and explain the science of food and nutrition in plain and simple terms so that you can take back control and reach your goals, dreams and aspirations.
When you come to see me about nutrition and food I want you to feel:
- Heard and understood
- Have an opportunity to tell your story
- Have an ability to feel able to cope
- Know that you have support
- Help rebuild a relationship with food
I provide a free of charge 10-minute telephone consultation if you would like to discuss more about how I can help you, so please do get in touch.
