Holistic Health Lab
An experienced and established Functional Medicine & BANT registered Nutritional Therapist.
With a qualification in both naturopathic nutrition and nutritional science, I form a unique, modern and effective approach, merging science with nature.
I strongly believe that the 85%-15% approach is a more workable solution for long term health that is easy and comfortable to stick to.
WHO I WORK WITH:
My main business is private clients, although I also do consultancy work for raw-food producers, run yoga day-retreats, work-shops and work with charities.
WHAT I OFFER:
Nutritional analysis, health assessment and personalised protocol.
Suitable for those with less complex and straight forward health issues or for any of my BEAUTY packages such as Nutritional Facelift / 'Sugar Rehab' / Anti-Ageing / Appetite Dysregulation.
Rejuvenate & Restore Packages:
I offer very specialised and very tailored Nutrition course packages for Gut Healing Protocols and more.
Suitable for more complex or layered health conditions, and especially suitable for clients who are committed to their health . Many of these clients may have been sent home to live with their symptoms, have diagnosed conditions or 'unexplained' illness. If you want to know more, please contact me directly.
THE FIRST CONSULTATION IS ALWAYS A REGULAR ASSESSMENT & ANALYSIS CONSULTATION.
YOU GET MORE FOR YOUR MONEY
I ask my clients to complete an extensive health questionnaire with details of eating history, preferences and habits, together with health questionnaires, information on health objectives together with a food diary. I ask that these are returned to me prior to a consultation to allow me to really read through and consider your personal information in detail beforehand. This essentially saves you consultation costs, and ensures you have something to take home from the first consultation so that you can start straight away.
I LOOK AT THE ROOT CAUSE
I practise Functional Medicine (see Institute of Functional Medicine) which underpins Nutritional Therapy. A form of 'systems biology', we look at whats going on metabolically for that person, what's not working, what irritant may need to be removed from the diet, what needs to be supported etc.
To illustrate, even in the case of weight gain and such like, which is often misunderstood to be simply a 'lack of willpower' situation there may be compounding factors of increased hunger hormones or dysfunctional energy processing.
I don't believe in addressing symptoms - I believe in targeting the root cause.
WHAT YOU GET WITH YOUR CONSULTATION:
1. COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH & DIETARY ASSESSMENT
2. PRACTICAL LIST OF FOODS TO AVOID & INCREASE
3. PERSONALISED PROTOCOL & STEP BY STEP PLAN TO RESTORE HEALTH
4. NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENT & TESTING ADVICE
5. SIMPLE AND PRACTICAL ADVICE
LOVE YOUR HEALTH!
If you want to have a chat about your health or have any queries at all - feel free to give me a call or drop me a line for an informal chat at any time.
