Julie Clark - Spring Nutrition

Nutrition has been life changing for me and I now get to make it life changing for others!
I LOVE nutrition, it is so simple and so powerful and yet we seem to have lost our way with our health and diet. We have 1 in 4 children starting Primary School already over-weight, we have the fussiest children in Europe, more and more babies are taking prescribed medication such as Gaviscon and cases of attention deficit disorder are on the rise. Something has gone very wrong!
I would like to thank you for visiting my profile and I hope you find it useful and informative in helping you make the decision to book an appointment to see me. I am a fully qualified and insured Nutritional Therapist registered with BANT, CHNC and NTC, which all have very strict codes of conduct. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutritional Medicine awarded after my attendance at Thames Valley University.
Having seen a Nutritionist as a last resort to my own health issues many years ago, I became increasingly interested in the effect food has on our sense of health and well-being. You may be aware that your diet is making you feel ill. Food is an extremely powerful tool in addressing many of today’s complaints.
It is my belief that we have lost our way with our diets. This does not mean that you cannot have your cake and eat it. I believe in the words moderation and balance and as a busy working Mum myself I will make this transition extremely easy and pain free for you.
With this in mind I have a special interest in educating families and children in the benefits of eating a healthy balanced diet. My book Baby Led Weaning Step by Step was published in April 2014 and I often write for parenting and baby magazines as well as speak at baby shows and events. I run a number of courses to help families as well as providing family consultations and talks to groups such as schools and clubs.
As a Nutritional Therapist I am used to working with a vast range of health complaints and problems but specialise in baby and child nutrition, baby led weaning, fertility and pregnancy, fussy eating and family health.
