Jessica Andersson BSc (Hons) MBANT CNHC
Based in Shepherds Bush/Acton. I have been practising as a nutritional therapist for the past 7 years.
I work both with individual clients and within the corporate sector where I deliver one to one consultations, nutrition related seminars, healthy cooking master classes and provide nutrition advice to restaurants. In addition to this I have delivered a number of healthy weight programs and have a health MOT certificate which enables me to carry out glucose and chlolesterol tests.
My focus is on long term behaviour change and health coaching for weight loss and healthy eating generally. I have had considerable training in these areas. It is my belief that sustainable weight loss is all about a change in behaviour and not just diet alone.
I see a wide range of clients from those who just want general advice on healthy eating to those who are struggling with ongoing health problems.
Areas I specialise in are:
- Children's nutrition and behaviour
- Low energy
- Food intolerances
- Weight loss
- Cardiovascular health
- Energy and stress management
- Health in the workplace
I also work as a chef/recipe developer and help families, students and individuals with meal planning. Many of my clients struggle to find the time to plan meals and need support and inspiration for cooking healthy meals.
Other services I offer are:
- Nutrition related workshops and seminars in schools and within the community.
- Healthy cooking workshops
I have a recipe and nutrition resource website www.jessicaskitchen.co.uk where people can access my recipes and other information.
I studied nutritional therapy at Westminster University and was awarded my BSc (HONS) in 2004. I have since attended numerous courses on health coaching and mentoring, cardiovascular disease, IBD, weight management and children's nutrition.
I am committed to treating my clients in a compassionate, non-judgemental way, providing them with the understanding, encouragement, education and ongoing support needed to reach their goals.

Price on asking.
I also see clients in their homes. Prices for this vary depending on location.
What to expect?
Before the consultation you will be asked to complete a 3 day food diary and questionnaire. A survey will be made of any health problems, as well as previous medical and family history. Your diet and lifestyle will be reviewed. Diagnostic tests can be arranged if necessary. A personalised nutrition and lifestyle program will then be specifically designed for you based on the outcome of the consultation.
During the consultation process Jessica will help you to understand the relationship between what you eat and the way you feel both emotionally and physically.
"As a fully qualifed nutritionist, it is my aim to help you to maximise your health potential and to empower you to take control of your health, by showing you how even small changes can make a big difference".
