Janet Padfield Dip ION MBANT CNHC
Hello and thanks for looking at my profile
Your health aspirations are my priority and I offer nutrition consultations which aim to help you achieve your health and well being goals. I work with both adults and children and I'm based in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
I qualified from the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London and I'm also a trained Foresight Preconception Practitioner and can offer support to those who want to maximise their chances of a healthy and full pregnancy.
I've always been interested in food and nutrition but, until I had my own family, it was simply an interest. Having a family really changed my priorities and the way I felt about health. Not only did I feel a huge responsibility to ensure my children were healthy and eating the right foods, I also wanted to make sure my husband and I were healthy too so that we could set a good example to our girls and maximise our chances of a long and healthy life.
My approach to nutritional therapy is realistic, simple and supportive. I focus on adding or replacing foods in the diet rather than just taking them out. I take account of your budget, time pressures and food preferences to provide a tailored program to support your unique needs. Prices and an explanation about what happens at your consultation are detailed below.
I am very passionate about food and how it can support health. I use foods, and sometimes supplements and tests, to support you if you are:
- low on energy and lost your sparkle
- hooked on sugar or caffeine
- struggling with weight management
- embarrassed with your tummy
- feeling tired all the time
- wondering if certain foods don't agree with you
- wanting to understand how food can support your training schedule
- fed up with eating the same old meals
.....and so much more!
Nutritional therapy works by identifying possible imbalances within the body that may be contributing to your sub optimal health. Together we create a tailored plan that works to help you achieve your health goals and set you on the path to optimal health and wellbeing.
I offer one to one consultation in person or via skype, couples fertility counselling, family sessions, group talks and have a full and comprehensive schools program across Berkshire schools
Please give me a call for a free no obligation chat on how nutritional therapy may be able to help you.

What Happens at your consultation:
Once you've booked I send you a comprehensive health questionnaire to complete and bring with you.
At the session we go through your health questionnaire and I ask you questions about your goals, aspirations and also your health.
Once we've thoroughly reviewed your current health I talk to you about the possible imbalances within your body that may be contributing to your symptoms.
We discuss your food likes and dislikes, budget, and cooking skills to come up with ideas that incorporate the foods you need in a way that suits you
Within 24 hours of your consultation I write a report for you that details everything we discussed and it has a tailored plan and a meal planner contained in it to help you make the adjustments.
Often we have a follow up session to review your progress and to adapt the plan as needed.
