YOUR HEALTH IS PERSONAL – LET’S KEEP IT THAT WAY
Hello, I’m Fiona Stephen and I’m a Qualified Nutritional Therapist with a real focus on helping you unlock your health potential in a supportive and results-driven way. I’m passionate about helping my clients feel better, and I have a real affinity for working with children.
When you come to me for a consultation, you’ll be pleased to know that I’m not going to tell you off, no matter what your current eating habits may be. I’m here to help, so we’ll start by building a detailed picture of your lifestyle, eating habits, medical history and any concerns you may have about your health and well being.
Then we’ll make a plan – a plan that is designed completely around you. There’s no “one size fits all” solution to nutrition, your needs, your likes and dislikes have a huge impact on what will work best for you. So you never need to worry that I’m going to suggest changes that you’ll never be able to stick to, or tell you to eat foods that you honestly can’t stand. Your plan will be designed to help you succeed, and often that means little changes that we work on over time, rather than a massive dietary upheaval.
When I work with children, who often find it difficult to articulate their feelings about food, my aim is to empower them to understand and apply healthy choices. I’ll work with the whole family, to provide plenty of support, and I’ll also work with educational specialists to support your child's learning and focus in school if that’s what you need.
I also deliver nutrition talks – most recently I presented 6 talks to a Patients Participation Group at a local GP practice – so if you’d like to arrange something similar, please get in touch.
- Nutritional therapy can:
- Optimise your energy levels
- Support your ability to deal with lifestyle pressures
- Achieve healthy and maintainable weight loss
- Increase vitality and boost brain function
- Support learning and focus
So please don’t hesitate to get in touch to find out more about how I can help you. I work from my dedicated office in Barnet, where I have plenty of information and resources to support you, and I am happy to speak on the phone if you don’t have the opportunity to come and see me in person.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified as a Nutritional Therapist after completing my training at the world-renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) in 2010, achieving a foundation science degree and a diploma.
I am strongly committed to continuing my professional skills and development, and I regularly attend conferences, seminars and courses to further my knowledge and understanding of Nutritional Therapy, and to keep up with the latest research and techniques to support my clients.
I am a member of The British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) – a professional body who oversee training and development of Nutritional Therapists, at a high level. I am also registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) – so you know that I am up to date, registered and qualified to help you and your family with your nutritional and health goals.
