I am an established Registered Dietitian and published author working in the local area for over 10 years with a passion for cookery and food. As well as being able to help individuals with dietary issues, I am an experienced dietary freelance consultant with in-depth catering industry knowledge, able to work with organisations or groups to deliver the right dietary solution for your needs.
Registered Dietitians (RDs) are the only qualified health professionals that assess, diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional problems at an individual and wider public health level. They work with both healthy and sick people. Uniquely, dietitians use the most up-to-date public health and scientific research on food, health and disease which they translate into practical guidance to enable people to make appropriate lifestyle and food choices. Dietitians are the only nutrition professionals to be regulated by law, and are governed by an ethical code to ensure that they always work to the highest standard. Dietitians advise and influence food and health policy across the spectrum from government, to local communities and individuals.
I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a full member of the British Dietetic Association and a member of the Paediatric Dietetic Group, the Autism Dietetic Group and the Freelance Dietitian Group.

Book and Booklets
In 2014, Routledge published a book I co-authored, Autism: Exploring the Benefits of a Gluten- and Casein-Free Diet (http://goo.gl/mnif3d). This works alongside The Autism Food Club website and community (http://www.theautismfoodclub.com) to promote a resource for professionals and support families with autism.
I have also written booklets for NHS Trusts and local authorities to help fussy eaters as well as recipe booklets and packed lunch leaflets.
I have a passion for cookery and recipe development and am a frequent contributor to autism publications providing specialist recipes based around the gluten- and casein-free methods. I also work with educational partners to provide child friendly but nutritionally balanced recipes, menus and lesson plans.
I am fully versed in the School Food Plan and Children's Food Trust guidelines for education in creating menu plans and recipes that are fully compliant as well as nutritional analysis to support these types of menus.
