About me

Fully qualified in both Nutritional Therapy (since 2006) and Personal Training (since 2012), I specialise in Women's Heath, with a particular interest in Hormonal Health and Pelvic Floor and Core Health.

I work mainly with women in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond, using the right kind of food and exercise to help balance their hormones naturally so they can be in good physical and mental health, feel and look fantastic, and maintain their ideal weight.

Together, my clients and I look at their food and exercise, and also their environment and work-life balance, to best support them as they move through various different stages of their life.

I am committed to helping my clients make improvements to their health and happiness. Nutrition is one of the three fundamental areas - movement and exercise, and lifestyle and environment are the others.

Understanding that that there is no such thing as a one size fits all diet or nutrition programme, and that what works for one woman won't help another, is key to a successful outcome. A good nutritionist will work with each individual client to uncover what "a healthy diet" means to that client, and this takes time.

In my professional career I have learnt that what women want initially is to be listened to. Then they need advice and guidance on what to eat, and what to leave out in order to help them achieve their goals.

After following my advice, clients usually find some recommendations work better than others. This feedback is essential so I can adjust my recommendations even further to suit that client's biological make-up, their metabolism, lifestyle and environment.

Monitoring and tracking results, and more feedback will enable us to come up with the best nutritional strategy possible. It is for these reasons that I only work with clients for three sessions or more: if you come once and don't get the results you desire it means we need to look more closely, not just give up.

Medical doctors don't always make a diagnosis and offer a solution after one appointment, and nutrition is just the same - to make it work you have to give it time.

In my Hormonal Health 6 week Programme we look at using food to improve areas such as digestion, hormone balance, weight management, liver function, stress management and bone health.

Pelvic floor recovery after childbirth is much neglected and there is very little useful information for women out there. I help women understand what is normal and what isn't, and I teach them effective pelvic floor exercise that really works. I help women with pelvic floor dysfunction such as stress urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Nutrition is a key part of pelvic health and on one of my courses you will learn how to move and eat well for good pelvic health.

  • 3 hours of face to face 121 nutrition consultation spread across three sessions
  • A comprehensive report based on my findings from your first 90 minute session (follow ups are 45 mins)
  • Recipes and meal suggestions
  • Telephone/email/Whatsapp support between sessions
  • Advice and guidance on lifestyle and stress management

The price of this package is £289.

I also offer the following courses:

  • Holistic Core Recovery from £149 for six weeks, private courses also available at £349
  • 6 week hormone balancing programme £365
  • 6 week Nutrition and Yoga course with a local yoga teacher.

I am a working mum who has had her own share of hormonal and pelvic health issues, so I really do understand my clients problems. It's why I specialise in these areas.

I am a strong supporter of women of all ages and backgrounds: I believe that women have the potential to be healthy and happy wherever they are and whatever they do, and I love to provide the information, education and support to empower women to take charge of their own health.

Nutrition, exercise and a healthy lifestyle takes effort - anyone who says it's easy isn't being honest. That's why my clients and I work together to break things down and change things in small, manageable steps - we celebrate each success and work on the areas that are more challenging until we get it right.
