About me

I'm a no-nonsense nutritionist with a reasonable fee structure and a strong belief in the healing quality of food. I believe there are simple dietary solutions for most health conditions. Many non-communicable diseases can be avoided with the right diet, as was stated by the World Health Organisation. The key is eating food, real food, and according to our own individuality. This is where nutritional therapists come in. Our advice is science backed but individual based. When you contact me I will tell you how is best for YOU to eat, I will not give you a standard protocol.

I have extensive experience in supporting clients who suffer from; allergies and food intolerances, cardiovascular issues, and hormonal imbalances (such as fertility, stress intolerance, hormonal imbalance, metabolic syndrome). I also work with clients who wish to lose weight; with weight-loss it is important to have a good understanding of all of these previous conditions since weight-loss is much more complex than cutting calories and requires a personalised approach.

My Approach is SIMPLE

I help my clients see that healthy eating is accessible to all and will provide you with easily digestible information and a practical toolkit.

My Approach is tailored to YOU:

Nutritional Therapists work with a personalised approach, because there is no one diet that suits all.

My Approach is 100% SCIENCE-BACKED:

As a Registered Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition, I have proved extensive research and work in the field of clinical nutrition; I know and understand the science behind all of my suggestions. I spend a few hours every week reading and researching to ensure that I stay on top of current research and opinion in nutrition science.

My Approach is A LIFESTYLE

Because our diet is a DAILY PRACTICE and not something that we switch in and out of. The answer to long-standing health and weight is to have a sustainable diet with foods that we love and enjoy.

I am WELL QUALIFIED:

These days everybody gives nutrition advice; you can get a nutrition qualification following a 6-month online course with no written exams. Please, please put your health in good hands and ensure that any nutritionist you consult is properly qualified. I am a Registered Nutritionist (RNutr) which requires a degree plus numerous years of practice and work experience in clinical nutrition. I am also a Registered Nutritional Therapist (mBANT) since 2014. I have a first-class Masters Degree in Food Nutrition and Health (University College Dublin), a Bachelors degree in Nutritional Medicine (University of West London), as well as numerous certificates in nutrition and health.

Special Diets:

I am very interested in special diets and have been vegetarian (since the age of 11), vegan, paleo and a raw-foodist in the past myself, so I can formulate diets from experience as well as from scientific knowledge. I have formulated menus for the renowned gourmet food company, the Pure Package, based on the paleo diet but with variations for those who are gluten-free, vegetarian, lactose-free, and many others! No diet is too complicated! Saying all of this... I am completely non-judgmental; whilst I choose to not eat meat, this is personal choice. My clients make their own personal choices.

Information about health conditions (*)

Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.

Additional information

Initial consultation via the Virtual Clinic (Skype, Zoom or Google Meetup) 60 minutes - £80

Consultations via the virtual clinic follow exactly the same format as those at my clinics. Following your consultation you will receive a step-by-step dietary programme with supplements to help you achieve your health goals. Instant messaging and support during the following 3-4 weeks is included via a specialised nutrition application, through which you also have the ability to log your meals and analyse your nutrient intake. Since your meal information is shared with me I can give comments and recommendations.

Follow-up consultation 40 minutes - £60

Follow-up appointments are highly recommended in order to assess your progress and fine-tune your programme, amending supplements as necessary. It may also be recommended that you undertake functional lab tests to assess your health.

Short Follow-up Consultation by telephone 20 minutes - £30

There is a short check-in option over the phone, where we can assess your progress and fine-tune your programme.

When I work

My preference is for online consultations via Zoom, Skype or Google Meet-up, however face-to-face consultations can be arranged. Please give me a call to discuss, thank you.
