I am a fully qualified Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist (dipCNM mNNA rCNHC) and an educator with a PGCE qualification in teaching. I am based in South London and see clients in the comfort of their own home and at West Norwood Therapies.
I am passionate about nutrition, education and empowering people to take charge of their health. I am a family health generalist but have extensive experience supporting women struggling with balancing hormones. I place a special emphasis on gut health as a key to achieving wellness.
Whether you need support managing a chronic condition or an acute health issue or you just need to boost your level of wellness and vitality, my approach will help you develop healthful behaviours that are sustainable and achievable. The bespoke nutritional plans I devise are tailored to your needs, and celebrate an enjoyment of nutrient-rich and tasty foods.
Prior to the initial consultation, you will be asked to keep a 3-day food diary and complete a health questionnaire.
The initial consultation - A chance for you to tell your health story and be listened to lasts up to 90 mins. Here we ascertain your health goals, look at your present and past medical history, family medical history, identify factors that might be keeping you unwell, and your lifestyle and dietary habits, all without judgement.
After 3 working days, a comprehensive nutritional action plan will be emailed to you with a resource pack full of recipes, a menu planner and a shopping list with links to retailers.
Follow-up appointments are scheduled 4 - 6 weeks afterwards for us to measure your progress, discuss the results of any functional testing and tweak the plans if needed.
I also offer a Cupboard and Fridge audit (at an extra cost) where I walk you through items that might be contributing to ill-health and suggest nutritious alternatives to suit your lifestyle, taste and budget.
Motivation is instrumental to you effecting lasting change; coaching is available to you and is done by Skype or phone at an arranged time.
For an initial assessment, please call for a free 20 minute chat to see how I may be able to help.
As with all therapies, you might need more than 2 follow-up sessions.
