Are you experiencing abdominal bloating, wind, inconsistent bowel movements, stress and a lack of energy? Digestion is important and a key factor in optimum health as what we absorb each day in our diet, will affect every cell in our body. This will affect the way we look and feel. I offer personalised and professional nutritional advice on health issues, including digestion, weight, skin, fertility, pre-conception, allergies, hormones, respiratory, energy and autoimmune.
I am a registered nutritional medicine practitioner with over 20 years experience and have helped thousands of clients recover from debilitating health conditions. In many cases a simple change of diet and minor adjustments can be all that is needed to make a significant difference. Nutritional medicine addresses the root cause of illness, rather than just focusing on individual symptoms, so I look into your health history very thoroughly and use functional diagnostic testing where appropriate.
Increased energy levels, normalising of weight and a positive feeling of well-being can be achieved as a consequence of correct diet, alleviating toxic overload and mineral balancing.
In my consultations I look for signs of suppressive previous treatments, heavy metal toxicity, vitamin & mineral imbalances, vaccinations, emotional trauma and diet. I focus on boosting the body's immune system, helping you to manage stress and promote physical and emotional well-being.
"I am pregnant!! Thank you for everything you have done for us so far, it has been life changing!" (trying to conceive for 2 1/2 years and now pregnant, 10 weeks after first consultation) ~ May 2016
"Since my first appointment I haven't had a single headache, and am like a new person. I've got loads of energy and even started exercising again which I haven't had the energy to do for nearly two years. No tummy problems anymore either!"
“I've just done a pregnancy test tonight and it has come out positive!!! I trust you 100% and your recommendations!” - July 2016
I studied nutritional medicine with a two-year course at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London. My consultations include using Applied Kinesiology to test for food sensitivities and mineral deficiencies, and diagnostic functional laboratory testing when appropriate. I am a sensitive and empathetic practitioner, and take account of individual needs and lifestyles to ensure a realistic treatment plan.
I have successfully helped thousands of patients with various health concerns and am a professional member of The British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT), the Nutritional Therapy Council, (NTC), which uphold and advance the standards of qualifications, competence and conduct of those who practice nutritional therapy as a profession, and The Complementary And Natural Healthcare Council, (CNHC). I am also a qualified Phytotherapist, (A.Vogel herbal tinctures) and Area Representative with an educational trust, for the last 17 years, helping children from traumatised backgrounds.

'I came to see Ann. After testing me on various foods, and finding some sensitivities, she advised keeping off these foods for a month. She also gave me a diet to follow and supplements to address these symptoms which were triggered by some of the foods in my diet. I now feel a different person!' S.K. - Surrey
"I feel better now than I've felt in years, and can now eat foods without reactions. I have a full time job as a teacher and live a normal, busy, active life - all of which is down to my change of diet and ultimately to Ann Shaw. Thank you!" Ms S G - London
"Thank you so much for helping me. The diet that you put me on worked so well, and to my great pleasure, my skin looks better than ever. I am so happy! Thanks once again for your help and advice." Ms A H - Middlesex
