New Year’s Resolutions: Where to start?

It’s the middle of January, and most people are now back to their old habits. Are you one of them? Or are you going to make this year genuinely different?

There are many reasons why you shouldn’t change anything to your life.

But at the same time, you know how much better your life would be if you woke up refreshed, had high energy throughout the day, clear thoughts, great concentration and memory, a positive mood and your clothes fit nicely. All naturally.

This is not fiction. This is how people who have decided to make a change and made it happen feel every day. I know, I have been there.

So, where to start?

There are no shortcuts. And consistency is key. It will be hard at first, but it will be worth it.

Here are the first five points you will need to master (in that order):

  • Drink adequate still water - daily
  • Sleep adequately - daily
  • Reduce/stop eating/drinking processed foods - daily
  • Move - daily
  • Eat at least seven different fruits and vegetables – daily

Start at the top of the list, with the first point. When it becomes part of your routine, add the second one. Take your time, these suggestions are not easy to implement. There is no rush. You have time. Again, the key is consistency. After just a few days you will feel a different, much better. Keep adding a change until the five changes are part of your life.

Then either you feel and are a new person, and congratulations.

Or you still need directions and/or support on what you can do to reach your goals, get in touch with a professional and you can work together to make things happen for you.
