A three week course (3 x 90 minute sessions) for parents/carers as they start to think about introducing solid foods for their baby. Courses are run for groups of parents in a home environment. I'm a registered nutritionist, so you can be sure of the latest evidence-based information. I'm also a mum of 2 and run a toddler group, so I can give down-to-earth, practical tips and not just the theory!
Course costs £45 per adult attending.
- Signs your baby is ready for solids.
- First weaning foods.
- What your child needs while under 2 years old.
- Food safety and hygiene.
- Equipment you might need.
- Dealing with fussy eating.
- Pre-prepared foods.
- Portion sizes.
- Healthy snacks.
No creche is provided, but participants can bring children (under 1 years) with them.
