Toxins have most likely become the primary drivers of chronic diseases – with nutritional deficiencies in the second position.
Founder of Bastyr University Dr Joseph Pizzorno who has been studying the connection between toxins and human health for the last 50 years, is paramount about this.
The worldwide epidemic of obesity, diabetes in adults and children, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease may have another cause than a high intake of sugar: the primary cause is more likely to be due to toxins.
Toxins are everywhere. Depending on where you live, they will come from different sources and in different percentage. It is estimated that for someone living in a large city like London they would come from food (45%), food packaging materials (15%), water (10%), house and garden chemicals (10%), health & beauty products (10%) and last but not least air (5%).
This talk aims to shed light on:
- The 10 worst toxins for human health
- Where these toxins are found
- How toxins cause damages to the human body
- The laboratory tests available to test your toxic load
- How to facilitate detoxification and excretion of toxins.
Learning about toxins is all the more so important that their effects is getting worse with ageing, and once they are in your body, they are very hard to get out (but not impossible).
