Nutrition for new mums is an afternoon workshop open to all new mums of babies up to one year of age.
As a mum of two myself, I know all about the challenges of eating healthily whilst caring for a new baby! I will be sharing my top tips for quick, healthy meal and snack ideas which will help you to meet the all important nutritional demands of being a new mum including recovering from the birth, boosting your energy levels and mood, breastfeeding and healthy weight loss.
I will give you clear and simple guidelines for planning healthy meals, along with a meal planner and some quick and easy recipes. I will also provide you with information on how best to meet your requirements for important nutrients such as protein, omega 3, iron and calcium.
The session will last for approximately one hour 30 minutes and will include tea/coffee, healthy snacks and time for Q&A. Babies up to six months (non-mobile!) are welcome to attend as well.
