Come along to this talk and find out how good nutrition and simple lifestyle changes can help you prepare for and support you through with the menopause.

This is a popular health talk for any woman (whether you are in your late 30's, 40's or 50's) wanting to prepare for, just approaching perimenopause or actually going through it.

It’s never too early… or late to learn about hormone balance. A common myth is that menopause is something you don’t need to worry about until it happens. The truth is hormone levels can start to drift downward from your 30’s. So paying attention and optimising health now can alleviate the sense of feeling overwhelmed later.

Menopause is a time of natural change and a normal part of every woman’s life. Some women sail through the transition with relative ease but for many going through it can be a little like driving on an unfamiliar, twisting road with an unclear destination, experiencing symptoms that range from being uncomfortable to debilitating, such as hot flushes, night sweats, insomnia, fatigue, mood swings, depression, dry skin and other physical changes.

The talks are friendly and informal. At each talk you will receive key notes with food ideas and easy recipes to try at home. Refreshments and snacks/tasters will be included.

Places are limited so advance booking is required.
Cost is £12.50 per talk.
